Team Social - Saturday, January 30th Our next team social will be the BIG Annual PARTY!! - Team Party is at the K-House 6pm. This is for ALL past, current, and future members of Team Kman as well as family members and guests.
Member, Doug Hicks, did the Rio Bravo Rumble Biathlon 10K/16mile run/mtn bike ride. He did the ride 32 minutes faster than last year and took 1st place.

SWIM
Excitement at the Pool - FLASHES of lightning ! The hot tub crew got in some valuable Kamaraderie before we all found safety away from the pool's depths.
There were 14 KMAN Masters who "went the distance" and swam a collective total of 3818.46 miles this year! For more team and individual facts on "Going the Distance" check out this link: www.usms.org/fitness/content/
If you are registered for KMAN Masters you will automatically be entered in "Go the Distance 2010." Bring it on!

•Saturday Ride January 16th - 8:00 am - Let's hope we can ride between the rain drops to do some hills at York Mt, 46 and Peachy! Leave Kman at 8 am and head left on El Camino to right on Curbaril, left on Santa Ysabel to right on 41, to left on Templeton Road, to El Pomar where we turn left on Templeton Road which then becomes Vineyard and continue straight until left on 46 and ride to York Mt (ride the climb or stay on 46), continue on 46 to the very top (or the view point just beyond the top) where we then turn around and ride back to left on Jack Creek, left on Vineyard, right on Willow to right on Peachy, up and over to the Amsterdam Cafe. Then home options abound for short (River), medium (Niblick/Linne/Geneseo, or long Niblick/Creston/Golden Hills/Union/Geneseo.

This Sunday, 8:30am - Meet-n-Go at the park at Bethel and Las Tablas in Templeton. Those that gather run a variety of mileage and everyone is welcome: Walkers, Sloggers, Joggers, Runners.
Track workouts start on Wednesday nights again in January. We will meet at the Atascadero Lake starting Wednesday, January 20th at 6 pm. We will start meeting at the AHS track at 6 pm on Wednesday, February 10th.
At our January 30th meeting we will schedule the monthly hosted runs and discuss our focus run events for the year.
