Team News - March 10th Swim Meet at Stanford  -next to the Stanford Shopping Center.  The Swimming portion of the  Bay Area Senior Games is March 10. This is a low key meet at the Stanford Avery Aquatic Complex!. This is an meet for competitors over 50 years and for Cheer Squad under 50. Two Hotels to choose from: Best Western Riveria ($119) and the Stanford Inn ($100). Stay Friday and Saturday night (or just Friday). These Hotels are right next to the Stanford Shopping Center and very close to Stanford University and the swimming complex. One nice thing about this meet is that all the events are on one day(Saturday) from 9:00am - 2:00 pm.

----------------------------------
From Reporter K-Woman - Next group run is on February 26 at 8 am.  We will start at Atascadero Lake Park.  Support on the course of 5 to 10 miles.
The Wine Country Runs Half Marathon on March 25.  Come run with our group to get ready!

Also, In the fluster of singing the Team K song(at the Banquet) I neglected to acknowledge Zoe Zappas's extraordinary advancement in her running career.  She not only decided to start running instead of playing soccer, she ran her first marathon and qualified for Boston! She is hooked.  Watch for her at the top of the running challenge again this year.  Follow her as she skates across America to raise money for a noble cause. She really is an amazing athlete no matter what she chooses to do.  She does come from amazing parents, but she is her own amazing self.  GO ZOE!!!!  BRING IT ON!!!

Also, see the Mud Party(October 2012) information below
.

"Running makes the heart grow
stronger" - I just made that up! (editor note "Genius")
