Next Saturday's ride: Let's ride to Santa Margarita, 58, Huerohuero and beyond. Leaving Kman at 8 am we will ride south on El Camino to the left by the drive-thru store to Paloma Park etc to Sandoval and back to left on El Camino to Santa Margarita to left on 58 (8.5 mi) Huerohuero (about 15.5mi) then up HH to Parkhill (about 20.5 miles). From there folks have some options, to return to Kman on Parkhill, to descend Las Pilitas and head back to Kman on Pozo road (both 40ish miles), or to continue around on Parkhill to Pozo (water at the Firestation) and then head back on Pozo road to the Santa Margarita Lake store for some refreshments. At the store the option is open to head straight back (60ish miles) or to do another climb up Las Pilitas and return by way of Parkhill. Lot's of choices!!
Run Sunday -
– Show and go at the Templeton Park on the corner of Las Tablas and Bethel in Templeton at 8:00 am.
