Knews - August 27

Team Social:

What a wonderful evening we all had. Welcome back to school everyone! The Coalition group has some great resources and ideas for the cycling community. Keep in touch with these guys to benefit our future.

The next team meeting will be September 19!

Swim News

Sounds like a couple of lane lines broke at the pool lending to a "harem" situation for K-Man and Glenesk-Man. The women had to join the K and the G in their lane and the B (Bickel) missed out on haremhood by going to some silly Giant thing...not the bike or the vegetable brand or even the football thing. Even though they are about 8 games behind he went to support the baseball thing in the Bay area...Good Luck!

Bike News

Next Saturday's ride: Let's ride to the coast! Leave Kman at 8 am and head left on El Camino to right on Curbaril, left on Santa Ysabel to right on 41, to left on Templeton Road, to…left on Templeton Road which then becomes Vineyard and continue straight until left on 46 and ride to York Mt (ride the climb or stay on 46), continue on 46 to left on Old Creek and ride down to Cayucos where we will stop for a break at the coffee shop (O’Neal’s) then ride north to Cambria for a second stop and then backtrack for the climb up 46 and home. The ride can be shortened by riding to the top of 46 and back to the shop or riding to the top of the downhill on Old Creek and back to the shop, or riding directly up 46 from the Coast (eliminating a stop in Cambria). And the ambitious can ride back to Atascadero up Santa Rosa Creek.

Run Sunday -

– Show and go at the Templeton Park on the corner of Las Tablas and Bethel in Templeton at 8:00 am.
