This is for ALL past, current, and future members of Team Kman as well as family members and guests. Date change reason: Many of our members are also involved in our community and the old date was the same date as the Chamber of Commerce's annual celebration.

$50 individual, $70 Individual including the Challenge Board - Couples/Family cheaper. Membership information can be found at:

2009 & 2010 Challenge Boards -
A. The 2009 Challenge Board has been updated. Kongratulations to ALL! If you are above the Bronze challenge level in ANY division you will be receiving KOOL AwardWear at our January 30th meeting. In addition, this will be a rewarding and FUN meeting for ALL members.
B. The 2010 Challenge Board is on the website. Please look at it and and either:
A. Do nothing because it is correct.
B. Email mglenesk@charter.net and tell us either to add you to a category, or remove you from a category.

•Saturday Ride January 9th - 8:00 am - Meet at Kman Cycle and Run in Atascadero.
Next Saturday's Ride: Let's ride River Road, Indian Valley road and Hare Canyon! Let's leave Akman at 8 am, left on El Camino to right on Curbaril to left on Santa Ysabel to right on 41 to left on Templeton Road to right on Lupine to right on El Pomar to left on Hollyhock to left on Neil Springs to right on River then straight through Paso all the way to San Miguel (20ish miles) Depending on distance and desire we can stop at the Railroad market in San Miguel (If we don't stop in San Miguel you will need food and water for 50 ish miles) or head straight to Indian Valley Road where we cruise 10 miles up to Hare canyon where we take a left, climb a bit and then enjoy the fast 7 mile descent. At the bottom we will regroup and turn around and climb back up then return to San Miguel (and the coffee shop) and then home by way of River Road. (76 miles). For a 50 mile ride you can turn around at San Miguel or a little beyond. For a 60 mile ride you can turn around at the base of Hare Canyon. See map 15 for roads mentioned.
Solvang Double, March 27, 2010: Entries are now open. You may apply either through Active.com or print out a form and mail it in (saving the Active.com fee). Early entry is $85 (until late Feb.27). If you are interested in participating please let Louise(Team K Bike Coordinator) know. The more the merrier!

A. This Sunday Robyn will host the run at the Schmidt house. We will start at 8:30 am. The routes will be 5 and 10 miles with water and gels on the the routes. Robyn will be making homemade scones and quiche...yummy! There will be hot cocoa and coffee too. Come ring in the New Year with a walk or run with the K-Group at the Schmidt house!
