Kman (Keith Schmidt) has started his dance lessons tonight . He will be Dancing With the Stars to raise money for a library expansion. You can "Vote for Keith" as the best dancer -- cause you know he will be.......... a 5 buck donation is "one vote" for Keith. There is a donation jar at Kman Cycle and Run in Atasacadero if you would like to vote.

News from the Team by reporter Robyn, "Linda and Rick Hicks have not only joined our team and gotten on their bikes to get fitter, but they have joined the running ranks. They RAN, their first 5K at the Templeton Turkey Trot last year. What a fantastic thing! And, Jennifer Glenesk did her first half marathon at the "Big Sur Half Marathon" last year as well. In honor of these two running feats I would like to award each of these three individuals a $20 gift certificate to K-Man Cycle & Run. They will be at the store for them.
I(Robyn) also want to say thank you so very much to the many team members who helped Keith and I to prepare for this event:
Mark and Jennifer Glenesk - awards prep, set up and clean up, recycle duty, video, etc.
Mike and Peggy Zappas - Driveway lighting, dishes, misc.
Christie Dubach - food prep, clean up
Martina Kingman - K-kookies...yum!
K-Man - awesome cooking! and everything else!

•Saturday Ride February 6th - 8:00 am -Due to the possibility of rain before or during Saturday's ride let's ride to Paso and beyond on River Road. We will leave Kman at 8am and head left on El Camino to right on Curbaril to left on Santa Ysabel to right on 41 to left on Templeton Road to right on Lupine to right on El Pomar to left on Hollyhock to left on Neil Springs to right on River all the way to Paso where we stay on River Road all the way to the bridge to San Miguel. Once at the bridge the group can decide to either go into town for a short or long stop or to simply continue straight on Cross Canyon to an immediate left on Vineyard and continue straight on Vineyard until we decide to turn around (before or at Parkfield) and then home again. If the water crossing in the dip on River Road at Fetzer Winery is too messy to attempt, then we can modify the ride at that time by returning to Wellsona and riding up to Airport and perhaps to Tower Road and those environs and we can loop around to San Miguel or return to Paso for refreshments. I will bring a map.

Run/Walk/Ride with Robin on her birthday, Tuesday, February 9th. Robyn and Kristie Lahr will be running 50 minutes to celebrate Robyn turning 50. All are welcome to join us at 9 am at the Atascadero Lake, zoo parking lot. You can ride your bike with us if you wish.

-->Run Coordinator, Robyn Schmidt, invites anyone to sign up to host a Sunday Run. The first Sunday of the month is "Special Run Host Sunday". You can choose the location and the route. If you need water, gels, or cones for marking your route let Robyn know. The rest of the Sundays we will meet at the Templeton park at Bethel and Las Tablas in Templeton. Please email Robyn at: runninrobyn@gmail.com and let her know if you want to host a First Sunday of the Month Run.
Be on a Team K Relay - Robyn will be putting together a women's masters relay team. The relay legs might all be 5K or varying lengths depending on which race is chosen. Please let Robyn know if you are interested. More details later.
