Team Social: Training Weekend at Lake San Antonio - April 9/10 - Save the weekend. Some of us will be camping Friday and/or Saturday. Everyone is invited for a great time.
Fri/Sat Camping - (an option)Lynch Campground. (FYI it is about an hour relaxed drive from Atascadero to the lake.)

Team Social: Training Weekend at Lake San Antonio - April 9/10 - Save the weekend. Some of us will be camping Friday and/or Saturday. Everyone is invited for a great time.
Fri/Sat Camping - (an option)Lynch Campground. (FYI it is about an hour relaxed drive from Atascadero to the lake.)
9:00 am Saturday Ride - meet by Lake 9am roll about 9:10am. A rider can either go "out and back" on the 24 mile Olympic Course or choose to go around the lake for the 56 mile loop. Another option is; riders may also choose to do the Sprint course or shorter out an back.
2:00 pm Saturday Swim - meet by Swim dock next to parking lot. Open water swim practice. Swimmers choose to either go short or long with the longest swim being 1.5 miles.
6:00 pm Saturday BBQ provided by team at the Lynch Campground. Menu: Roasted chicken, bean, bread, chips, salsa, and vegetables. Bring your own beverages.
9:00 am Sunday Run meet at boat ramp or in campground. Choices are many. Runners will go between 4 and 10 miles on the Wildflower courses.

On Thursday(03/10) the Fremont theater is showing the documentary, Chasing Legends. This story is about the SLO based pro-cycling team HTC-Highroad and their bid to win the 2009 Tour de France. The film starts at 7pm at the Fremont and the cost is $20 with a portion of the proceeds going to the SLO Bike Coalition. Check out the Trailer for Chasing Legends.

Triathlon -
March 27 - March Warm Up - AKA March Triathlon Series - The March Warm Up is close by at Lopez Lake, offers sprint and olympic distances, and is a benefit for Cal Poly Triathlon Club. This is a well organized event that is fun for rookie and seasoned triathletes.
April 29- May 1 - Wildflower Triathlon - Also an awesome event. When you sign up remember to choose Team Kman as your team.

Swim - We average 20+ swimmers MWF 6am at Kennedy in Atascadero.
Postal 1500 Meter Swim and Trifecta Swim Volunteer Coordinator, Mike Bickel reports that Kman Masters had 100% participation in the Postal Mile which make Kman Masters the Most Enthusiastic Masters Team in the USA. We will see how we do in the Awards in the coming Month. Split Sheets and a summary of annual recorded swims was emailed to all swimmers. Thanks Mike !

Run -
To be placed on the North County Run Group email list email Robyn Schmidt at runnews@teamkman.org and say, "Please put me on the NC Run Info List".
Saturday, March 12 join the Hares N Hounds 5K and Kids Run It will be at the Atascadero Lake Park. More information is found at active.com
April might bring showers but will definitely bring the Wine Country Runs; half marathon, 5K and kids "Grape Stomp" 1/2 mile. The Wine Country Runs will be held April 10. More information at active.com
May - This year the Big Sur International Marathon (and relay) will be on May 1. This is the same weekend as Wildflower Triathlon. I will not be able to be there or make arrangements. If anyone else is interested I can give you my information from the last time we did it. Sorry! Maybe next year, or another relay.
