June 6th - Kman reports - John McKewen, founder of the Nitty Gritty Dirtband, is going to perform June 6th at Castoro Cellers Winery. You do not want to miss it, he is incredible. He plays the banjo like Mr. Phelps swims, like Mr. Armstrong rides, like Mr. Bolt runs, actually he does it better than any of them! This will be a once in a lifetime show. It is a fund raiser for Escuela Del Rio, an adult facility for the mentally challenged. Our team has already raised $2000.00 for the event. I suggest that this event be part of the 5 or better challenge for 2009. Tickets can be purchased for $30 at Castoro Cellers web site or at K-Man Cycle and Run. Let's make it a night to be remembered!
