Next Saturday: Let's ride to San Miguel with an option to continue to Parkfield and back again!! We'll leave Kman at 8:00ish and go left on El Camino to right on Curbaril to left on Santa Ysabel to right on 41 to left on Templeton road to right on Lupine to right on El Pomar to left on Hollyhock to left on Neil Springs to right on River to right on Niblick to left on Creston to right on Golden Hills and cross 46 to a left to Buena Vista which we take to left on Airport road to left on Wellsona to right on River to San Miguel for refreshments. I suggest we stop at the market/deli at the railroad tracks for a light repast. Choices then abound for riders to either return the way we came, or go back by San Marcos or continue the 23 miles to Parkfield for lunch...maybe La-piano-machine will serenade us and our burgers/fries!

There will be no more Wednesday night track workouts this month.
Christie Dubach ran the Trek woman's duathlon that took place this past Sunday the 14th. The race was held at Disneyland, with the start taking place on Main Street USA. She finished first in her age division. Way to go Christie!

There will be no more Wednesday night track workouts this month.
But, starting July 1 will be the All Comers Track Meets at Atascadero High School track every Wednesday night for the month of July. Running events will start at 6:00 pm. If you don't want to run you can bring your kids to run and/or volunteer. Contact Robyn at runninrobyn@gmail.com if you would like to help.
Sunday run/walk at 8:00 am: Robyn and K-Man will host the run at their house, 6900 San Gabriel, Atascadero (466-4605). There will be a 10 mile course with water and gels every 2 miles. Also, breakfast food afterward. Come join us!

Marathon/26.2 miles/a cool challenge/a long way...I am planning on running the first annual Santa Barbara Marathon in December 2009 (sorry Martina). Anybody up for the challenge? How about a different Fall marathon? We can all train together and support each other. Martina is thinking about running the Long Beach Marathon, I think in October?
