Steve "la machine La Chaine had to step out of the Hoodoo 500. But, not without a valiant effort. I am sure we will have a more detailed account from Steve.
Saturday Ride: Let's do the Pozo/Parkhill loop...We'll leave Atascadero Kman at 8 am and head south down El Camino, taking our usual detour and then back to El Camino to Santa Margarita to Pozo road, up the Rinconada climb and on to the fire station at Pozo(27 miles) where water will be available at the fire station. Then we continue on around and up to Las Pilitas/HueroHuero intersection (39miles) where folks can choose to head down Las Pilitas and back to town (19 miles), continue on Parkhill (19 miles) or go down HueroHuero to 58 (5 miles), right (1 1/2 miles) to O'donovan and left into the Creston store (50 miles) for the first refreshment stop of the day. Then we can ride home up 229 or 41 or Creston to Cripple creek as the group sees fit. Remember to bring food and drink for the first 50 miles.

Other News:
There was news of Terry Lentz crashing and one of his fingers ending up at a 90 degree angle...Whoa! He figured that wasn't right so he put it back straight. What a stud!
"I just posted an ode to Keith on my blog. Got to thinking the other day about doing this - before even the knife incident - so it's not just because of his recent scrapes. When I realized we go back nearly 40 years, I figured I could tell a little more about Keith than most on the club would know about him."
