Team Social Meeting this Saturday
The meeting is this Saturday at 6 pm. at Kman's house.

•The Italian Group is BACK - A group of Kman Members went to Italy to ride some of the best strade andanti in bicicletta sul pianeta. Steve R, Galyen, Mike Z, Peggy, Terry, Len, Katrin, Bill. We can't wait to see all the pictures and hear ALL the stories.
•Mark & Jennifer Glenesk - gave a talk to SLO Bike Club members(about 50) regarding "group trips - the beauty and logistics". They report it a rewarding experience.
•Congratulations!! to Doug and Rick Hicks, and Steve Hodgson. Awesome Tri's at Tinley's.

•Saturday Ride(10/10) - Saturday's ride: Let's ride to Amsterdam...the cafe, that is...We'll leave Kman at 8am and ride left on El Camino to right on Palomar to right on Curbaril, to left on Mercedes to left on 41 to left on Templeton road all the way to left at El Pomar, to straight on Vineyard to 46, cross 46 to right on Willow, to left on Peachy to right on Vineyard to right on Adelaida all the way into Amsterdam's for coffee. Return home by choice of...Vine, River, Linne or Goldenhills....

This Sunday we would like to run some place different. We will meet at the East side of the Cuesta Grade at 8:00 am and go out and back. It should be beautiful up there. SLDC will be invited to join us.
Last Sunday the "Boston Gals" (Robyn, Martina and Kristie)ran long together. It was a beautiful morning in Templeton and we all had a great time supporting each other.
Thursday morning Kristie Lahr joined Robyn and K-Man for a running tour of Atascadero back roads and around the lake. It was another beautiful morning for running in Atascadero. I love where we live!
2. Run - Sunday, November 1, 2009, 8:00am meet at Santa Rita and Ridge Road in Templeton for the Annual Templeton to Cayucos Run -Attached is information about this casual, friendly run from Templeton to Cayucos which has been going on for years. Occasionally it becomes a fundraiser-like this year. This year's fundraiser is sponsored by Annie Mooney and benefits the Chandler Sky Foundation. ALL proceeds will benefit an orphanage in Peru, Casa de Milagros. K-Man Cycle & Run will put support out on the course and participants pull together to pick each other up and shuttle each other back to the start.
Whether you would like to participate in the fundraiser or not come join us in the run. It is beautiful and very good company! Please pass on the information to any runners, walkers or cyclists who might want to join us. (It is a nice road to ride a mountain bike on too!)
