-->Run:
This Sunday meet at Templeton Park at Bethel and Las Tablas at 8:30 to run.

Last Sunday Robyn, Kristie and a guest from SLDC, Bob, ran on the east side of the Cuesta Grade. It was a perfect day for running, cool and not too wet. Unfortunately it wasn't very clear so we couldn't see the ocean. We will do this run again with hopefully a better view. We will try the west side sometime too.

Sunday, November 1, 2009, 8:00am meet at Santa Rita and Ridge Road in Templeton for the Annual Templeton to Cayucos Run -Attached is information about this casual, friendly run from Templeton to Cayucos which has been going on for years. Occasionally it becomes a fundraiser-like this year. This year's fundraiser is sponsored by Annie Mooney and all proceeds benefits the Chandler Sky Foundation and an orphanage in Peru, Casa de Milagros. Read all about the run at this link. K-Man Cycle & Run will put support out on the course and participants pull together to pick each other up and shuttle each other back to the start.

Whether you would like to participate in the fundraiser(donation of choice at start) or not come
join us in the run. It is beautiful and very good company! Please pass on the information to any runners, walkers or cyclists who might want to join us. (It is a nice road to ride a mountain bike on too!)

Robyn Schmidt is coaching a Junior High Cross country team. They ran in their first race on Tuesday. It was very impressive that they ran like experienced runners...smart. The boys, Josh and Daniel, were 5th and 6th in their race. The girls, Camille, Jenna and Laura, were 18th, 21st and 12th in their races. Very impressive second halves for all of them. Watch out for these "K-kids" in the future!
