Strawberry Canyon Aquatic Masters Swim Meet: A great university pool and facility in Berkeley. A well run swim meet with events for everyone. Short course, yards. Come one, come all! Sunday, March 28, 2010. Pick up a flyer at workout! Mail-in deadline is March 16th. Online deadline is March 24th.

Bike:
Last week - lots of water in the creeks which overflowed onto River Road and Airport Road.

•Saturday Ride March 13th - Let's ride to Parkfield!! Start at 8am at Kman and travel left on El Camino to right on Curbaril to left on Santa Ysabel to right on 41 to right on Templeton rd to right on Lupine to left on Hollyhock to left on Neal Springs to right on River Road all the way to San Miguel (20ish miles). If we need to get supplies we can do so at the deli store in San Miguel then head out to Indian Valley Rd. then right on Vineyard Canyon Road for the 13 mile climb then downhill and flats to Parkfield (45ish miles). Lunch at the Grill...Check out the menu at:

After lunch our return trip route is rider's choice. See map 13 on the Team Kman website and also check out the ride described on the following slobc site:

Google Maps adds "bicycle" - Google announced what all bike riders have been waiting for - Grab Your Bike and Go with Google Maps. When getting directions from any "here" to any "there" you are now able to choose "bicycle" as your transportation of choice when using Google Maps. For example when a person puts in Atascadero to Paso Robles the bike route goes on Lupine Lane. Here is the map Google generated.

5:30 pm - Wednesday quality group workouts are at the AHS track. Everyone welcome! We will meet at 5:00. We will modify the workout to your training needs. You can do the track intervals, jog the streets of Atascadero, do fartlek on the streets, jog around the track, or cheer on others.
Our Monthly Sunday Morning Hosted Run will be April 4th - If you are able to host the April Run, please let Run Coordinator, Robyn Schmidt, know( runninrobyn@gmail.com) . The first Sunday of the month is "Special Run Host Sunday". You can choose the location and the route. If you need water, gels, or cones for marking your route let Robyn know.
