•Brian Smallwood - Kongratulations on becoming an All-American for USA Triathlon and on a qualifiying for Ironman, Kona.

•Robyn Schmidt reports, "We all had a great time at Wildflower this year.  Mark and Jennifer Glenesk and Steve Hodgson were so kind to help with the K-Man bike repair booth. Len Colamarino was also a big help even though he wasn't there.  He donated some helmets and shoes which were all handed out to those in need.  We got to say hello to most team members who were there.  They enjoyed the shade of our booth and Najore and family enjoyed camping at the K-Man camp site.  Our awesome mechanics, CJ, Kim, Mike and K-Man revved it up Saturday and Sunday morning for all those last minute bike concerns.  We helped a lot of people!  Some with some unusual issues.  Stories and pictures to come...   It was the most beautiful weather we have had at Wildflower in a long time.  It was great to see all of you out there at such an awesome event."

•Las Pilitas Time trial training ride: LaMachine = 26:42, Mike Lewis = 26:16

It's a 50 mile open category, unsanctioned race followed by a gourmet lunch at Tolosa. The course is a mix of pavement, dirt road, and a short stretch of single track. It's modeled after the NorCal Grasshopper races. It's on Sunday May 23rd and we have about 40 places left open. See the events calendar at tolosawinery.com for details. All proceeds go to SLO Bike Coalition. The $20 fee includes lunch and wine so it's a smoking deal as well."
