SWIM - It appears as though our swim reporters have been out on swim leave of some sort or another. K-Man has been busy praying to the porcelain Gods (along with the rest of his family) while Lori Bickel has been busy...sleeping in? Way to go girl!

Here's another contest...Who will be joining the morning swim group, for the first time ever, after her daughter turns 12 on July 3rd? Prize - swim cap from K-Man Cycle & Run, design of your choice.

BIKE - Next Saturday's Ride, June 19th: Let’s head south to Santa Margarita. To make it simple we will leave Kman at 8:00am and go right on El Camino to left to Grandpa's pond to back to El Camino to left on 58 and ride, ride, ride til we reach La Panza (23 miles) where we will go left to 41 (37 miles) to the Creston Store (39 miles) for refreshments. It is my understanding that there is some road work on 229 which means that another route will need to be used to ride back to Atascadero. One option will be to ride back on Creston to South El Pomar. A second longer option will be to ride O'Donovan to right on 58 with the choice of riding straight back to Santa Margarita or making a left up HueroHuero to left on Parkhill to right down Las Pilitas and back on Pozo road.

RUN - This Sunday is Father's Day! There will be no hosted run. All you Dad's have a great run on your own, with your family or take the day off. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

July 4th Sunday is the Pozo 5K. Starts at 8:30 at the Pozo Saloon. Regstration is race day only starting at 7 am. Hope to see lots of "K"s there.

The next hosted run will be June 27th. Robyn will host a walk/run/ride from the Schmidt house at 8:30 am. We will have lots of food afterward.

All Comers Track Meets – Thank you Mike and Florence Aielo for doing the timing again this year. That is invaluable. Any other volunteers for the five Wednesday night track meets out there? If you can make it to one or all please let us know. The tasks are simple (Mike and Flo took the hard one). You get to make an athletic impression on young people and be a part of this wonderful athletic community that we participate in. The money raised to goes to the High School Athletic Foundation and helps with costs to maintain the all weather track at AHS.

Samantha Schmidt is doing another home performance to raise money for an awesome cause; CCA, Children’s Cancer Association. This time she will be doing the Wizard of Oz with friends on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Dinner will be served at 6 pm and the show will start at 7 pm. A $10 donation is requested. It is at the Schmidt house.
